Yes. Swap drinks for points (1 point per hit), or for a forfeit dare. The confession mechanic is what carries the game — the booze is just one variant of the consequence.
Minimum and maximum number of players?
Works from 3 to 10. With 2 players the dynamic gets too transparent (you know exactly what the other did). With more than 10 the pace gets sluggish — split into two groups.
What if nobody has done the thing?
House rule: the person who read the statement drinks. Keeps the deck moving and prevents endless safe rounds.
